Demet Emektar Demir

Founder & Principal Consultant

Demet is an experienced financial strategist with a strong background in cash flow management, risk mitigation, investment strategies, and corporate finance across the UK and Turkey.

Before founding Daphne Financial Consulting in 2023, she honed her expertise in London’s premier financial hub, focusing on Market Risk Management at Barclays Capital and JP Morgan. In 2012, she transitioned to Turkey, initially focusing on Risk Management before taking on broader responsibilities in Treasury and Corporate Finance. Over time, her role evolved to encompass Treasury, Finance, and Risk Management, where she specialised in advanced statistical analysis, predictive cash flow modelling, budget and cost management, and strategic investment landscapes.

Demet holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Istanbul University, alongside a Postgraduate Degree in Economics & Finance and an MSc in Financial Engineering from Birkbeck College, University of London.
